Only 90 minutes from Hartford CT the 194 acre lake Sadawga has an unusual feature: a floating island! Lots of lake front for landing and a porta-potty will be available on site. There will be coffee and donuts at 8-8:30, Lenny and family are planning on offering a lunch too!

Bring your minty motors, run 'em and have fun!!

* Note: GPS and MapQuest give directions from Rte 2 to 112 - Lenny says this can be shortened by taking Shelburn/Coleraine Rd. off rte 2. It is a right turn after a little Antique shop and the sign even says 112 on it. Following it takes you right into Colerain and rte.112 and saves a few miles.if you follow the other directions it takes you up farther on Rte.2 and hooks you on Rte. 112.

From the South:

- Take I-91 North to Exit 26 in Massachusetts

- Enter next rotary and take 3rd exit onto MOHAWK TRL - MA Rt.2. (9.5 mi )

- Turn LEFT onto MECHANIC ST - MA Rt. 112. (0.1 mi)

- Turn RIGHT onto HOPE ST - MA Rt. 112. (0.1 mi)

- Turn RIGHT onto MAIN ST - MA Rt. 112. Continue to follow MA Rt. 112. (5.9 mi)

The Safe Running of Boats & Motors
All boats used at a Yankee Chapter AOMCI wet meets must be legally registered, insured and have all safety equipment as required by law. Since safety is a concern for all recreational boaters, the wearing of life jackets is recommended for all individuals and is required by law in many states for children 12 years of age and under. Laws may also require children 12 and under to wear life jackets on docks and other areas.

When boating, please act responsibly and obey all rules of the road and local laws regarding speed and noise limitations. Please be sure that all equipment is operated in a safe and respectful manner. The consumption of alcoholic beverages at Yankee AOMCI functions is strictly prohibited.

You must be an AOMCI member in good standing or be the guest of a current member to participate in Yankee Chapter meets.
